I have a 73' jeep Commando with with a dana 30 front & 44 rear axles.  I also found a 72 jeep J4000 truck with a 44 front and 60 rear.  I want to swap the axles from the J4000 to the Commando. I know the 4000 is wider and has drum brakes front and back. Is the width going to be a problem?  Should I move the spring perches or the leaf springs to fit?  I would also like to swap in disk brakes front and rear and set up high steering on the font axel.  Any suggestions where I can source the parts for the steering and the brakes?
