I have a 2004 F150 (new body style) that is an x-cab 2wd. I have a 5.4 liter with an auto trans. I was wondering if it's possible to change to a solid axle front end and put in a transfer case without costing too much. Or am I crazy and should just buy a 4wd already. I've been through it all with this truck and would love to keep it. Any suggestions on which axle or transfer case I should use. Thanks for any input.
