Every year we build a 4x4 for ultimate adventure, this year is no different. As it is our premier event we are going to build something that is pretty killer, so don't expect this to be a budget buid-up. Rather imagine it as a dream build up. If you could build anything at all what would it be?

Please oh Please don't decide to build some kind of tubed vehicle. I would love to see an FJ40 Landcruiser tricked out. I have one myself and currently in the progress of building it up. Not to upset Mr. Pewe, but Jeeps are too plentiful on the trail and in your video's. Please build up a FJ40. They look great and really perform well. Well there you have it my vote on what I would like to see built for the Ultimate Adventure 2006---FJ40 Landcruiser.

Please no jeeps ot tube buggies. I see them all too often. Do something orignal... well, not typical. How about old iorn. Really old iorn. Like a 1956 Apache. Or do a V8 Dakota on full size running gear. Build a H2 that can go off road. Can a hybrid Chevrolrt handle off road rigors? This is the best part of the mag, I can't wait.

Ever seen a hearse riding on 44-inch boggers. Cause I want to. The eagle idea would be awsome too.

Didn't one of you guys have a m37 ambulance stuffed away somewhere? Now that would be cool!

lets be realastic here, they ALWAYS build up a brand new truck for UA. even though I would rather see a Scout or original Bronco build I still wanna see new ones too.
HERE ARE MY UA TRUCK CHOICES: Hummer H3, Ford F-150, and Ford Ranger

I agree lets use a little bit different brands than the same few all of the time. An old bronco or the dodge M37 would be a really cool build up.

How about a half pint, maybe a late model ford ranger. There are lots of guys that have these rigs and they don't have much of a choice in the way of lifts. I think you should grab a 5.0 fuel Injected motor from a mercury mountianeer drop it in a ranger. Maybe you could build a bitchin independent front lift with gob's of travel and stuff a set of 35's under it. With the way gas prices have been, lots of guy's that used to drive a full size truck have switched to Quarter pounders. These trucks are just as tuff as the next.

here is my idea
we all know that a jeep sized 4x4 is the most practicle trail vehicle, just once think out side the box and get the longest truck to wheel in and make it a prerequsite for all the other people that joins UA 06' to follow
since full sized, four doors, diesel truck are becoming more popular, why not do one of those truck.
they come stock w/ dana 60 front and rear or similar, got a bad a** motor in it, lot of room to carry everything needed to go camping, plus you can sleep in the cab. the only bad thing it that it's just to long.
just find a mid 90's diesel Ford F350 crewcab longbed as your project truck and don't bob anything.

I say use the m37 ambulance or something like a S10 Blazer or S10 pickup, cause i don't see anything for them very often.
