Hi all,
I have an 86 Isuzu Trooper 2 door, looking to see how difficult it would be to upgrade the front end to a solid axle assembly, and overall body lifts, mods in general, etc etc....
I have a gut feeling this is going to be harder than I expect....any feedback you good people can offer out there?
Appreciate it, Liam M .

i drive a 1995 trooper and all i can say is good luck buddy. im trying to build it into a mudding rig and a daily driver and it is impossible to work on and parts are very hard to come by. i can tell you to check out independent4x.com they carry alot of parts for all isuzu trucks
good luck and happy wheeling

I too have an 86 trooper. Definetly check out Matt at Independent4X. He has a ton of stuff for isuzus. 86 and earlier are kinda the redheaded stepchildren of troopers, everything running gear wise changed in late 87'. And most of the aftermarket stuff is geared toward them. If you havn't already check out www.planetisuzoo.com, there are tons of isuzu freaks over there. Lots of info and a couple of guys have even done the solid axle swap.
Oh yeah check in to an aussie locker for the rear end. Best mod I've done yet!
