I HAVE A 81 F150 2 WHEEL DRIVE AND A 83 F150 4 WHEEL DRIVE. THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE HAS A RUSTY BODY AND I WAS WANTING TO SWAP THE RUNNING GEAR OVER TO THE 2 WHEEL DRIVE. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE FRAME IS THE SAME ON BOTH TRUCKS? I THINK CHANGING THE RUNNING GEAR WOULD BE EASER THAN SWAPING THE BODY. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPECIATED.

If everything is the same, it would be much easier to swap the body's over.

I heard that that the cab is heavy and I do not have any one to help me. Correct me if I'm wrong. I do have a cherry picker I can use.

You have absolutely no one to help you, not even your best friends? A cherry picker/ engine hoist with a long strap might just lift it enough above the frame unless you do some thoughtfull thinking. HMM, HMM. You never know, it might just work. Just use your mind and I know you could do it.
