Well, like I said i trimed the fender. lol they rub a little still in the front when i turn and the suspention is stufed a bit and also at full stuff going straght they rub just a little. Im in NY now in the army but im going home soon. so I have a 4in lift that ill put on when i get there and that should cure all of it.

what gauge metal did you use on your skid plate, i was thinking of making a few small ones for my bronco, and i don't want too much weight. sounds like you got a pretty cool rig, what is your winch, electric or hydraulic because i can't decide which to get?

Forget the 4 spd, just find the adapter for an NV 4500.

You all have some great rigs.

I have a '77 GMC 3/4ton long wide box w/ the D60 front, 10.5" 14 bolt rear, both open right now, stock lift with a 6" Superlift and 35 BFG MT KO's in the works, rear receiver mounted Ramsey 8000lb wench, dual batteries with a splitter and custom battery tray, 350 w/ Eldelbrock dual plane performer intake and 600 CFM electric choke, NP465 4 speed and NP205 transfer case.

I am slowly fixing it up as a trail rig and plan to give it an Army truck look.  (I can't resist as I am in the Navy)  I am wanting to route the exhaust up through the bed and install a custom snorkel up the passange "A" piller so I can go scuba diving with it through some of the deep Washington mud holes we enjoy up here.

Im drivin a '43 willys with matkins extreme frame, Dana 60 front and rear w/ ARB airlockers and on board compressor, Fabtech 3 inch suspension lift and rancho rs 9000 shocks. I converted the brakes to 4 wheel discs, i have rock crawler extreme series 97 wheels with bead lockers, im running 35 inch super swamper boggers. The engine is a 383 small block with edelbrock fuel injection, the transfer case is a atlas II heavy duty and custom driveshafts. I installed sparco racing bucket seat and harnesses and the stereo consists of a kenwood touchscreen deck running to 2 jl 12w6v2's powered by jl amps. On the outside i have 4 kc rally 800 8" hilites mounted on the top and 2 more mounted on the front brush guard. The front and rear bumpers are brand new skid row night crawler bumpers with a warn 9.5 xp winch on the front bumper. I built a custom external roll cage wrapping around the whole jeep ( just in case). For the little mud and dust this crawler will encounter i installed an ARB safari snorkel./ I custom bent the exhaust to come out above the jeep to keep it out of the way. Yep thats my million dollar jeep... pffffft I only wish I had it. this is my lifelong dream. If you guys see anything that would not compat together just tell me so i can perfect my idea before i even buy a flatfender

all i can say is the 4x4 world can't wait for someone like you and your imagination to open up a shop. study hard and get that mechanics degree so you can start building rigs. i don't know if the stereo will handle the trails, but hey, you can't wheel without some tunes and you forgot to mention your tranny and gears. i don't think your jeep will cost you a million$, but i'll say about  $40k. awesome dream ride, i hope you get to build it. my dream is a 72' bronco, too much to list
