I have a 73 chevy blazer with full time 4wd.  It runs fine and everything, but i'm having a hard time finding wheels that will fit over these big, odd hub things that stick out from the front axles.  Does anybody know a way to get rid of them w/o doing anything too drastic or know a set of wheels that will fit over them?  Any help is appreciated.

I've got a '77 full time 4x4 like yours. Most wheel manufacturers make a special center cap (sort of a chromed sleeve) that will fit your Rims. If the manufacturer you picked doesn't carry them, than you can still get them from places like Mickey Thompson, American Racing, etc...

Just get a measurement and compare before you order. Most tech support lines for these manufacturers can help you with this. The open center caps are not expensive - about $5-10 dollars each as I remember. Getting your hubs changed is a lot more expensive though - take a look at the Warn's locking hubs, if you do. Some of the cheaper brands will give you a lot of headaches, as I've heard from  a lot of folks. They keep slipping out gear, and you end up driving a 3X3 for a while if it won't re-engage. I had to do that once with a '76 Bronco I was thinking about buying years ago - I took it back to the dealer as a 3X3.

I've never had a problem with the full-time hubs on either of my trucks and have never had a need to do anything to them. - "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - words to live by in the 4X4 world unless you are independently wealthy.
