I have a 1996 Grand with a V-8 and Quadra-trac II. I am going to have to rebuild it or replace it. What is your opinion on what to do? I have found nothing on rebuilding the Quadra-Trac. I have a great transmission specialist who will do the rebuild. Can I strengthen it to handle 300hp?

Change it to a 231 transfercase. Its less expensive and you get rid oof the full time 4 wheel drive.

I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee 4.7V8 Quadadrive just bought it now we are getting 10-16 inches of snow,I just figured out the front tires wont spin in fulltime only in 4 LO. Have you had that problem? Any ideas? thanks
