Living in the desert I have the best of both worlds. Choosing one over the other is like choosing between my wife and my rig ,a verry close race !

Hey! i think that mud rules! sure, rocks are great but honestly, how can u really be flat-out stuck on rocks? Mud presents a bigger challenge, and it gets more difficult each time u go through it. Bolt some swampers on and try some mud!

hay i live in joshua tree calif. and all we have is sand ! but its cool living here. i have a 73 k20 w/4in lift, 36in goodyear oz's,350/350/np203 locked front & rear . it going to get an np205 stacked on the 203 soon so i can have 4 to 1 low for better torque. we do have some large dry lake beds that get verry muddy when it rains but you better have a lot of ground clearence or you will get stuck the beds here are all clay so it gets sticky fast

Cool... i've got an 89 k5 jimmy with a 388 stroker, 350T, np241, gm 10 bolt frontend n rearend, rear posi-trac n front limited slip. I just put some 33x12.50 TSL's on my truck, n they make it 100 percent better in the mud... do u play in the sand alot? we have a place not far form here (sand pits) with alotta sand dunes n stuff... about how fast do u go through sand? just wonderin... i might try some sand 1 day...get u some swampers 4 ur truck n you'll do a lot better in the mud the next time y'all get some rain.

hay whats up. yes i play in the sand a lot we have sand dunes about 5min from my house . and as to how fast i drive in the sand it all depends on where im at . the big dune by my house is a fun one its verry steep, and verry soft blow sand so you have to have a lot of speed to climb it . some of the other places we wheel are washes and you cant drive verry fast. my chevy loves mud iv had it 4years and never got it stuck just punch it and go but what i hate is washing it afterwards if the clay drys its a b#@&H to get it off
