i have a '99 tj 4cyl last week i powerwashed the hell out of it to get all the mud out of it and i think i caused a short.  about 30 min after washing my horn started to yell at me while i was inside the house (jeep was off and keys were out of ignition) i thought the horn  "button" was stuck inside of the steering wheel so i gave it a few smacks but it didnt fix anything.  so i quickly disconnected the battery.  i gave it a few seconds to reset and i reconnected the battery and the horn started again after about 5 seconds with the battery connected.  so i simply disconected the horn untill i could have the time to troubleshoot it.  later i took the steering wheel cover thing off that contains the air bag and horn switch, i found that it was a compression pad type switch and that all looked good in the steering wheel.  then a few days ago my battery went dead, i jumped it and drove it around for a while, then i went to start my car last night and the battery was dead.  also when i went to disconnect my horn i noticed that i had two and that one was on constantly and the other was silent with the battery connected.

i appreciate any help or advice, i hate damn electrical gremlins.
