You can make them, but just remember for the rear that if your exhaust of hitch is oriented with the bumper, it will look goofy hanging down 2-3" with the bumper raised.

why go with such a large body lift? do you just want it big or are your tires rubbing?  If it was me I would have a qualified body shop open those wheel well so they don't rub, and not do the body lift.  I hate body lifts over 1 inch.

if it looks funny with a hitch in the back if you have access to some scrap steel you could just build a taller bumper to take up some of the space or install some back up lights to disperse the space in the back

If I were you I'd forget the body lift, as they are very ugly. If you want bigger tires, just cut out the fenders a little bit. I think your truck looks great as it is, this is just my opinion.

Nice truck! I'd for get the body lift too and go with the fender work.

I've seen some big body lifts and I didn't like the way they looked either, unless your're doing something really radical where it would go with the look of the build. - I did a 1" body lift on mine, but I wouldn't go any further. - just my opinion.

Body lifts can look ok if you take your time and build or buy the proper gap guards and adjust the bumpers or make some type of filler. The think I dislike about them is that they do nothing for the suspension performance, kinda like lifting chevy ifs, haha.

I agree. It's like installing little stilts on your truck that don't do much of anything. I changed my factory ones with PolyEthelyne ones because the factory originals were just shot - rusting and varying heights on the cab mounts.

Chevy IFS sucks on an off road truck in my opinion. Solid axles are the only way to fly!

redbeast said it. Body lifts realy are not worth it. They screw up your linkage and look cheap ('cause they are) Trim the fenders or lift the suspension.

Remember, years of engineering have gone into the design of these trucks, by professionals, not weekend warriors like us.  The further you go away from the origional design, the more problems you will have.  For performance, stay as close to the design as possible.  Body lifts are bad in every way.  On top of what has been offered already, you will have additional problems with your radiator and other components in your engine bay.

Cut the fenders if you rub, and if not leave it alone.  Nice truck.  Stay low and light!!!

Factory ifs is not set up for performance, it is set up to give a nice ride ON road. If you really want ifs to perform you need extended a-arms and coilovers.
