I want to put a '79 350 v-8 into an '89 Chevy k2500 that has 4.3L v-6 and std 4spd w/ od. will I have problems w/ bell housing & flywheel match-up?

bell housing should be fine as a 4.3 is basically a 350 minus 2 cylinders.  however the flywheel may not match up. but that shouldnt be a problem, probably just need a flywheel for a 350..  for  a better answer try posting this at www.67-72chevytrucks.com  they have a forum for 47-current chevy trucks as well as an engine and drivetrain forum that should get you pointed in the right direction..

just need the fly wheel for a 350 and the engine mounts might have to move forward a little.  The holes are already drilled in to the frame.  The good thing about chevy is all tranmissions( rear wheel drive) will bolt up to any engine, except the duramax.
