I'm just wondering if anyone knows why no mags or anyone else for that matter does any mud features in alaska? We have got some of the best/worst (which ever you prefer) mud conditions in the country. I've lived all over the US, so this isn't just someone being bullheaded. I have seen 3 (count 'em, one-two-three) trucks daisy chained together in a mud hole, the least stuck was up to the middle of the doors, the worst had his ass end ripped completely off when it (the truck) was extracted, all were fullsize trucks of both chevy and ford makes (so no snide comments) and all this took place 50 feet off the road during breakup. What's worse, it this is a common thing. Lifted trucks are a way of life here, and 4 wheel drive is almost mandatory to have, but still nothing is mentioned of our great mud conditions.....why?  

The mags dont feature stuff in AK cus they cant drive there from california for the weekend.  

that's where "business trips" come in. Its more than worth it if you really like nasty sticky mud that has a habit of claiming drivetrain lives. If you should ever get the chance, you should bring a rig up yourself.  

Been to the Yukon and NWT, but not AK.  

they may seem similar, but they're not. I have been to both as well, you should make the rest of the trip sometime. if you like I can list off a few good places to bog in.   

I dont have a bogger anymore, and I live in Ontario. Appreciate the offer though. Funny thing too......we got mud here as well..........
