i have a 99 superduty, its my tow rig as well as daily driver. i really like the look of a truck when its leved out, but when im towing( my 70 bronc!) i dont want my ass end dragging all over the place! is their a best of both worlds? what if I level it and use those air bag helper springs? and 33's think it will work? and still be able to haul just as good? need help, let me know what you think!

go ahead and level it, the rear suspension on a 99' superduty should handle towing and hauling without much sagging anyway, but for added support and peace of mind i would add the air bag helpers. hope this helps you, and glad to see you own an old horse.

now normally a stock truck when loaded will level out, but a level truck when loaded will tend to sqaut down, right? which would then cause the load to be unbalanced and might cause the trailer to not track properly. (so ive heard) plus dont you think it would put extra stress on the back springs? so in my eyes i think i would be forced to put the air bags on(not really expensive anyway) and pump them up to the max psi. the deal is that im young and dont want to driving a truck that looks like an old guy truck! but i guess i should just stay stock and accept that im the youngest old guy! besides gas is only getting worse and the v10 isnt helping, not to mention what it would be like if i had 33's! by the way im only 21! any other comments can help thanks everybody!

you could put helper springs on, too.  they keep the truck level when it s loaded down.

The reason most newer truck sit a little higher in the back is because they are designed to cary a load and sit level.  Unloaded the back should be a little higher.  I seriously doubt that a trailer with a bronco on it will over load the rear springs on a superduty...check out your rear springs, see that big thick leaf at the bottom? That's what it's there for... heavier loads.

because rough men stand ready

to do violence on their behalf."-George Orwell
