i'd hafta say go mud because aside from the fact that you can't do donuts and shower people with mud in the rocks, most of the time, mud trucks can hold their own in rocks too. The ones with tractor tires might get a little tippy, but if you saw the TopTruck Challenge in Fourwheeler this year, then you saw a wicked jeep from FL (treasure coast represent) on 49" IROKS embarrass the hell out of purpose built rock rigs and walk right over their "mini rubicon" rock course, which if you've seen the DVD you know it ain't no little pile of gravel.

I have the dvd and what your saying is true but any one with 400hp 49in iroks and 2 1/2 ton axles will do good just about any were well mabe not the street

Anything that gets me on the trail with my Jeep and Camera is good for me. I like the MUD cause it allows for some wheel speed. ROCKS are interesting and requires a little more finesse but there is nothing like applying some torque, listening to the engine tune and watching the mud fly.

even though i'm not a big fan of jeeps but I have to agree that I love hearing my engine scream ang the goo flying
