I have done a lot of swapping but never with anything this new. The engine swap will be the easy part bypassing the computer will be a little harder but it can be done .  The 4.3 vortec is in my opinion (which does not matter to a lot of folk) is the worst engine that chevy ever put out and it gives the mechanics lots of money . Figuring out which computer does what will take up the time , i have bought the repair manual but it does not tell me which one does what. The computers are under the passenger part of the dash and will take a lot of work. i will have to figure out which one does what . Then i will have to get rid of the electric transfer case shifter to a manual one . I will have a lot of time consuming work ahead of me, anyone with any information (constructive) please contact me . thank you.
