4x4 Ranger...You do know that a Ranger is a Ford truck? (I like Ford and Chevy. Just defending my Ford side.)

ok ok ok I love this whole ford/chevy/dodge/import thing cuz it gets me laughing every time. I own Ford, I have owned others, and I can appreciate all. Just because I choose to drive Ford, and name my daughter Galaxie after one, doesnt mean that if a hot guy in a nice looking chevy comes around I wouldn't give him the time of day! or if he can outrun me in the muddrags then thats even better! I say to each their own and enjoy what ya have cuz eventually everthing will have its own problems... Yeah I know fords rust, and have crappy power steering and brakes when pushed through mud... but I still love them and enjoy what I have. OK I said my peace, now everyone have a nice day... Oh yeah I have a ford v8 emblem on my back with pink flames coming off the sides, the chevy tat is cool in its own right!

You never know, I could be a "Park Ranger" or a "Ranger in the military", but I'm not.
The reason I call myself 4x4 Ranger is because I currently own a 98 Ferd Ranger that I made a mistake buying.
Before I owned my first Ferd and my last Ferd, I owned only Chevy's and all of them were excellent vehicles. Somehow in my stupidity I switched from the "Best" to the worthless rest. Believe me, I've learned my lesson.
When I get the bucks back in order, I will find an old school Chevy pickup or K-5 Blazer and sell my "POS" Ferd Ranger to some Ferd lover.

Chevy's are like a rock because they can take a beating and still rock on.
I had an 84 S-10 that had well over 250,000 miles on it with the original engine, tranny, and the rest of the drive train and I know this is going to sound strange, but the more miles I put on it the better it ran.
What's your daily driver Rubberneck? You probalbly drive a Yugo.

Ya, makes as much sense as Ferd's slogan:
" At Ferd, quality is job 1 !!" ????
I think they forgot what comes after "0" at Ferd !!

I'd be 'very proud' to walk, than drive a Ferd again, or a Yugo, for that matter.
I've been there, and done that, several times with my ex- Ferd vehicle - the walking part. Once I got it to the mechanic I couldn' walk cause It felt like I'd been kicked in the nuts! - by the sticker shock from the repair bill! - I said " I have to pay how much to fix this piece of *** !! ??? " I had to bite the bullet and pay through the nose cause it was the only thing I had to get to work with at the time. True story.

I know brother, that stank wont come off fo years after you go through a traumatic event like ownin a Ferd! - the voice of experience speakin here! You know it. I feel your pain.
