ive looked all over the internet and magazines for a suspension lift for my '82 Datsun 4X4, but i cant find one. Does anybody know where i can find one or would a suspension lift for a different vehicle work for it? Im pretty knew to all of this and im ready to go 4 wheelin', so any advice would be appreciated.

Most of the older Datsuns I've seen lifted, the person got rid of all the independent front crud and put in a solid front axle, then just use leaf springs. You should be able to find a descent axle at a junk yard by looking carefully and being a bit picky. If you don't buy aftermarket springs you have to carefully evalualte vehicle weight of your truck and donar truck so that your suspension isn't too stiff.
