I've heard a lot about different axles like Dana 60's and 8 bolts, or something like that. I know they have something to do with gear ratios(i think).  Does any body know which kind would fit a 1982 Datsun 4X4?  If so where could i get one or pull one from. Your advice is appreciated.

probably a dana 44 or even a solid toyota axle would be good. dana 60 or any thing like that dont have anything to do with gear ratio, its just the size of the axle( a dana 44 is bigger than a dana 35 and so on)you can get  lower gears for any axle. get on 4 wheel offroad's website and click around and you will see different articles about axles.
