Again, Here I am asking for help. I am looking at getting 33' tires and rims. I am looking at getting the Baja Series, but I am not sure what size rimes to get and I am thinking of getting 33' tires, but sure on what brand. I want to get the Wide look on the tires, so my concern is the rim size and tire size. Was think on the tires- Super Swamper Thornbird 33', but didnt know how the rest of the numbers work for the wide look. Example, the tires come in 33/10.5x15 - 33/11.5 - 33/12.5, not sure what will work for the rims sizes, casue they also come in different size, so I reckon I am asking what will work and give me the wide look. Thanks

Check out the Mickey Tompson Claws in a 33/13.50x15
Use a 15 x 10 with little backspacing. (the wheel will poke out of the fender farther)

Its hard to give precise help not knowing what type of truck you have, and/or lift if any. But what I can tell you is if you really want to get a wide stance, read the rim specs and look at the amount of backspacing for each. (Backspacing is the amount of the wheel that is closer to the center of the truck.) So the less amount of backspacing, the more amount of the rim that will be positively offset, giving you the wider stance you are looking for. But keep in mind that the wider tires you get the more of a chance of rubbing when turning. So if you get rims with a less amount of backspacing, you can get tires that aren't as wide. (which will also save on a lot of front-end wear, tire wear, friction drag, and cost as well.

if you want the widest look go with 12'' rims with the 33 12.50/15.
any of the tires you spoke of will fit on 10'' rims but the 12.50's will give you a balloon look that probably wont ride or handle the greatest.

Minimum back spacing is the best way to achive the look your after. 3.5 to 4 inches is best, however the look will still vary depending on how wide the wheel is that you choose. Keep in mind also that while minimum back spacing and wider wheels will give you the wider look. These choices will also require more clearance (lift). For instance if your running a 33/12.50/15 on a 15X10 wheel and your close to rubbing the fender when you turn, then the same tire will most likely not clear on a 15X12 wheel. I may be able to help further if I have more info on your application. I myself run extremely wide applications on my rigs with only 35s. If you would like to see what it looks like you can go to http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/catfish/index2.html . You may notice that approximatly half of the tire protrudes outside the fender. I'll be happy to help further if I can.
