Ok I know I'll get alot of crap about the Liberty but I still have my 73 cj5. Anyway when I'm driving it and turning into a driveway that is slightly uphill the trans. is between 2nd and 1st it slips when I step on the gas pedal. It happens quickly till the car is on the level again. It has to be uphill and have a slight tilt from turning to the right or left. Almost like it not getting fluid from the pan. I've had to the dealer and they say it's normal and operating ok. Has anybody heard of this happening before? Thanks for any help and yes you can tell me all the Liberty jokes.

Take it back and tell them to fix the problem or you want your money back. Maybe try a different Jeep dealer.

Hi, did you ever resolve this problem...transmission slips between 1st&2nd going uphill with slight turn??  I have the same issue on my 2006 Liberty.  Already been back to the dealer toooo many times.  I'm sorry I traded in my 100,000 2003 Liberty.  Thanks!
