Problems with Tera Low kit in my Dana 20

Recently I installed a Teralow t-case gear reduction kit in my Dana 20.  It's the 3.15 kit.  I rebuilt my transfer case at the same time.  The only thing that wasn't replaced was the case and the shift lever fork.  Before I rebuilt my case it was sliding out of 4 low.  Hence the reason for the rebuild.  Now that I have the tera low kit in, it still slips out of 4 low, but only when I'm going uphill.  I've also had it slip out of 4 hi into 2 hi which can be frustrating when you're trying to crawl over something.  Has anyone else had this problem?  What did you do to fix it?  Unfortunately I wasn't able to do the work myself because I was in Montana fighting wildfires.  I had a local Scout shop do it for me.  I called Tera Low and the said it might be that the gears are misaligned or that the spring responsible for keeping the shift lever in place is too small or worn out.  The kit came with a new one so it can't be worn out.  I'm open to suggestions.  I really don't want to tear apart the whole case to get down to the very bottom of it though, which is what I'ld need to do to get to the spring.
