Ok, Im sure some people are sick of my questions already but here it goes, recently my truck developed a rattle, the rattle is extreamly annoying and comes from the front cat. converter. the truck is an 87 f-150 with the 351w. anyways, i was wontering if anyone has had this problem and if there is a reamedy, i was gonna put a peice of pipe where it is and then put a new cat in for the rear that is capable of doing the job of both, but then realized that the front cat is at an angle. so the pipe idea is out, dose anyone have any experiance with this?? i was thinking about cutting the cat open and removing the guts then welding it back shut but this is alot of work and i want to fix it as right as possible. there is a parts store that sells one but you have to put it in with a peice of flex pipe and i am not a big fan of that, well thanks for any thing, Jeremy.

My wife got my plates for me so nobody ever asked for my emissions test. sounds great when am on the gas. Dont know if this well help.

Hey thanks, i just ended up taking off the second cat when i put the summit cat back system in and low and behold the first cat had broken apart and blown into the second causing it to clog up pretty much all the way, but now shes all better, more power, already has an inspection sticker, and no smog tests in newhampshire, so ill just have to put a new one on befor next year, thanks for the input, oh and do you know if you can buy headers that bolt onto the stock engine pipe, i want headers but dont want to deal with making an engine pipe.
