before you go ahead with that much lift you should consider tire size and diff gearing. My younger brother has the same set up other than his is a 91 5.0 (should be the same trans Auto OD.) and he runs 2.5" of lift and 33's, he has replaced his transmission every other year because of tire size and gearing, oh yea we take his to moab too!

You probably can't get driveshafts until your truck's put together. If you drive it on the street get it professionally made. Bring in your old ones and have them extended. Or if you want to get a bulletproof one send in the lengths to Tom Woods Driveshafts. I've only heard good things about him. Here in St Cloud MN we have a shop that makes driveshafts but most major cities have a similar shop. If it was my money I would just go there, then go to a junkyard find a similar for about $30.00, buy your own driveshaft tube and make a spare in your garage. For the trail it doesn't have to be exactly balanced or even exactly straight for that matter. Regarding your lift. Once you buy the lift kit measure the front springs out of the box and once they are in the bronco. Then once the front spring break in and the front tires seem to collapse together (if it happens, most ford ttb kits do) take your measurement and go to junkyard and find a set of springs from a ford 3/4 ton or similar vehicle and the truck should sit right. A friend of mine tried this and it worked perfectly. Although I'm not sure if that was a 4 or 6 inch lift kit. Had to 6, He's running 38's. By the way his front shafts are still holding together. Wow, and he has a 351. Hope some of this helps, good luck. If you need some parts email me mrwcrs@astound.net ask for Corey. Thanks.
