I think I saw a way-cool M-37 that had a custom sheetmetal bed with fabricated fenders on it, in a magazine.

I would like to do the same with my `73 Dodge stepside fenders.  One has some rust, and the other is full of bondo, so I'd like to replace them with something fabricated out of steel tubing and diamond-plate steel.

I think this M-37 had just the thing I was thinking of.  Might have been in the TTC finals.  I need a pic. to show my welder so he can get an idea.
