NEW BRONCO COMING!!!! There is a new Ford Bronco Concept that is totally bad ass. It has a 2 litre intercooled diesel with a 6-speed powershift tranny and some new 4 wheel drive system that I dont really know what to think about yet but it has nitrous straight from the factory, winch, bunch of other off-roadin accessories. Check it out at http://www.autointell.net/Events/naias-2004/naias-2004-daily/ford-bronco/naias-2004-highlights-bronco.htm or http://www.ford-trucks.com/news/2004/news2004-1.html or http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.mv?file=car.mv&num=1846 It better make it into production or im gonna...................................cry. sniffle*

yea it is sweet but i think it needs more power, diesels are cool and when they have a bully dog on them, even sweeter but nothin is better than a big V8. like the 351 that they put in them or even if the put the 5.4 in these new bronco's

Dude i you think that is going into prodution thats crazy i saw it in the magazine a while back and ther eis no way its gonna come like that the diesel is gonna go along with the NOS and tranny . the 4x4 might stay but doubt it. and its gonna cost a bit too. and if its a ford its gonna horible to jack up and stuff.

you might be right about the cost but the new bronco wounldnt be hard to lift, fords are not hard to lift at all. the only thing i would love to see in this new broncos package is at least a manual transfer case and some nice power #s

they arent going to sell well to wheelers and I'll tell you why.
1) you're right they're going to skyjack the price for a suv that has a small d engine when we can spend about the same amount of cash on a big d engine in a dodge 25/3500. 2) all those "goodies" wont help the price at all and takes a bit aways froma vehicle that has had such a great history of being built up. where's the mechanical fun in truck that already has everything you want to put in it factory installed? 3) though it may not be hard to lift you'll ahve to wait until it becomes a big seller wheelin wise in order for the manufacturers to make a lift for it. (exception to this rule would be the H2 as lifts were around for this thing almost before it was released publically) 4) status symbol, how many H2's do you see getting down and dirty on trails that you take you're F-150/Dodge/Toy/Gm on? Not many, its more a symbol that you had the cash/credit to pick one of these things up than it is the fact that you now own one of the most high tech wheelin machines on the planet. the new bronco is going to fall into this same hole when its released due to price, and amount of gizmos. Its like the 17piece screw driver. Besides what does Ford need another SUV in its lineup for? Escape, Explorer, Expedition, Excursion and now Bronco again? You ask me they feel a debt to all the former or current vintage bronco owners about totally killing probably the best SUV they ever made adn they're trying to make it up to them by bringing it back as everything it was built up to be. (would have said best vehicle but the F-150 family has stood its ground pretty well)
