 Gladwin County Ice Carnival 4404 Lakeview Beaverton MI (located near Albright shores) is a non-profit organization started in 1964 40 years this past  Feb. a place to go to watch both amateur and professional racers dedicated to preserve itself (owned and operated by its racers )and racing of all kinds; mud bogs, 300’ sand drags (both trucks and ATV’S), lawnmower bogs, vintage snowmobile races, snowmobile drags, AMA nationals iced oval, Woodys' pro 300 enduro .Our 80 acres of property has two mud bogs pits with safety rails on both sides, two sand drag tracks with timing lights, a 1/4 mile track and 1/2 mile track for ice racing, rock crawl area, snow cross area, camping area, a 4000 sq ft. clubhouse building that we strive to maintain. We host monthly old country music jamboree’s. Albright Shores as we like to promote ourselves started sanction mud bogs up to 200 racers (includes celebrity mud bog )mud bog 5 years ago and is constantly growing .We started sanctioning sand drags 2003 season ending with 116 racers first year for vintage ice races should have similar success .We have had much more than 20,000 people attend our races annually.
