I have a 1999 Wrangler TJ 2.5, I've noticed that my front wheels are hard to turn when you try by hand. It's not obvious that the brakes are binding, am curious if this is a normal thing to expect due to having the front diff and transfer case - please help before I start tearing into things blindly. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks

So what your saying is that when you jack up the front end, and the tires are off the ground, the tires do not spin freely? Are you sure you have the transfer case in 2Hi.... That doesn't sound right to me at all. But all the trucks i have, have manual locking hubs. I don't know if auto hubs are different. But that still doesn't sound right to me. Do the axles turn when you spin the wheel? watch for that when you do it.
