I have a 88 3/4 4x4 Suburban with 76,000 miles on it. it has a 6.2 diesel, TH400, NP208, 3:73 gears and 33" tires. It is just plain gutless. I live in a hilly area and I have a lot of problems climbing steep grades. I would like to put the Banks turbo kit on it , but I have been warned about it blowing the motor apart. I 've been told that the 6.2 is weak in stock form, and that the turbo makes it a time bomb. Has anyone used this setup with good long term results?
Thanx, Brandon
