hey could someone give me a clue on how big of a job it is gonna be to put a straight axle (toyota axle) to replace ifs, and what do i need to purchase or fabricate to get the job done.

Im pretty sure Allpro offroad sells entire kits with all the bracketry and stuff included. that will atleast give you an idea of whats needed. as far as how difficult it is all depends on your attitude. my buddy never fabricated a damn thing in his life and his first project was a SAS! just whack every bit of IFS crap off the frame, make nice front hangers out of some 1/4 wall tubing to locate the front spring mounts. the front shackles are the pain since stock solid axle trucks mount through the frame not under it. so its your choice there, either way youre making your own! me personally I am a very big do-it-yourselfer. i will only buy what i absolutely cant build. I am 10x's prouder of my truck because of that. hope this helps!
