I have a 74 nova it has a lot of dings so I was wondering if I could put bodyfiller on the whole car then sand the car down . would the car look like it had bondo all over it.

if he is going to wheel it does it matter what it looks like or if the bondo stays on?  It don't matter on my truck as long as it is driveable.  

Is this Nova sitting on a 70something 4x4 truck frame? If so with all the trees, rocks, brush, rolling over and such you may do...*evil grin*  Bondo would be fine but might just come out in chunks if you roll errr crash into the right spot but you can always fill it again.

Body filler is only used for spot repair, not the whole car. So yes, if you coat the whole car in bondo, it will look like a 74 nova covered in bondo.  

to much will crack and look like *** hammer and dolly as much as u can then use a skim coat of bodyfiller over the dents. I also have a 74 nova,mine is an SS.  

take 220 grit sand paper on a block and sand over the dents what is shiny is the dent sand well and apply the bondo only thick enough to fill the dent. make sure to fether in the edge. dont put bondo on the whole car, if it is staight dont mess with it.  

i dont think you want your nova to weigh twice as much do you?...and if you dont do it right itll look like *** you want as little bondo as you can get away with.
goodmark and year one will have body parts to do it right and make it look really cool!
