I have a 1986 ford mustang gt 5.0 it has a gt 40 302 High output with about 435 horse power. My problem is i cant get the car to accelerate smoot.. The car pops at about 2800 rpms in every gear and i cant get it to go past 4500 rpms.. It's annoying I have put lots of money in my car to try to fix this problem...I have changed the cam, feul preasure reg 50 millalitters throttle body larger feul rails.  It has to be something simple because the engine and 4 speed tran with all he other parts are all brand new..please does anyone got any advice on what may be the problem or how i may be able to fix it...

First this is a TRUCK page. but sence im in a good mood, Try looking at your ignition it may not be up to par with the rest of the motor, check the timing again it may be off, do u have a dirty feul filter, or just not high enough octane maby after that im lost with out a carb.
