i've got a 79 chev with 6" suspension lift and 3" body running 39.5" swampers.i have the 10 bolt chevy front diff. my problem is with the fromd driveshaft angle. it's such a drastic angle i really have to clearance my cv joint to make it work, but then the cv joint just gets eaten up. what can i do with it to decrease the front shaft angle? the truck is a 4 gear with a 205 t case.

1.you can drop the transfer case approx. 1 inch 2. you can get a constant velocity joint drive shaft for high angles 3.you can have your differantial knuckles rotated to decrease the angle 4.there is also special ujoints that have offset cross

If your front driveshaft is like mine, I had to grind off the tabs on the CV joint, otherwise it just eats up the CV joint, you'll find them on the lower side, just two little ears that stick up, I ground them smooth and its worked fine. But I only have a 4" lift. I also lowered my transfer case.
