hey guys I need some help on my transmission I have a 1998 Jeep XJ with the ax-15 trans that does not want to shift into 1st & 2nd gear first thing in the morning. after it gets warmed up abit it seems to shift fine. any input would be great, thanks guys.

Drain the trans and try synthetic in it instead of the dinosaur sauce. Manual trans's get picky in the cold when they need the fluid replaced. The synthetic will be less likely to thicken in the cold as well. You could try a slightly lighter weight, but stay very close to Jeep's spec's as you could damage your trans big time by going too light.
