I want to swap a 700r4 for an sm465 and i am wondering how hard and costly it would be. I have an 84 84 jimmy doner truck and i want to put it in my 84 k10 longbed.

check the "man plan" blog on this website. they put a nv4500 & np205 in a 87 chevy 1 ton. you have the shop labour fees, new driveshafts,flywheel(if the k10 doesn`t have the same motor as the jimmy),new clutch, changing all the linkage over.that`s just what i can think of off the top ofmy head at 4:30 am.
