If you can pull an engine you can replace the clutch.  It can be done by one person but a second helps with some parts.  You will need a torque wrench for the pressure plate bolts and a clutch alignment tool for your truck.  (Some kits include the alignment tool)

It is very important to keep all surfaces that contact the clutch plate clean!  Use brake or electrical cleaner to clean off any oil/grease before the clutch plate touches it.   One other thing, make sure the clutch plate is facing the right way- there is a flywheel side and a pressure plate side.

Don't go to a shop, its a good learning experience and you will probably need to do something like it in the future.

Good luck

I agree-Don't go to a shop! Just to add something, with the hydro clutch, if you use the same flywheel and get it turned, there's a shim you need to buy to put it behind the fly wheel. It costs a couple bucks, and the reason to do this, is that if you don't your clutch pedal won't come up as far as it needs to be and you'll have way too much play and the clutch won't disengage. Or you can buy a new flywheel and you won't have to worry about it. You'll understand when you get into it.

Make sure you do either or.
