As I was trying to go to a ford web-site to try to find info. on my piece of poop ford ranger and all of the other piece of poop fords, I got info. about paying a fee for viewing certain info. that ford has to offer. What a bunch of bull poop!!! "FORD SUCKS". Why did I ever stray away from CHEVY witch was a excellent vehicle? I guess I was a dumb ass!!! Live and learn, live and learn the hard way!!

I don't care too much for rice burners.
When funds are back in order, I will go back to the old school Chevy's that to me are the only "real truck" to own.
Old Chevy's are the only real American truck to me!!!!

I'm talking about late '60's to early '70's Chevy cars and trucks.
I had a '65 Chevy II nova that toped out much higher than your so called figure!
As far as I'm concerned Mopar has the "Hemi" not Nissan.
How well does your truck do off road? Speed isn't everything in a truck! I myself have never seen a Titan off road, except for a public dirt road.

well i never said titan was a hemi sad that i burn them up! i live in the florida panhandle and i'm from the alabama and florida line and play in the river now and again play in alot of bama gumbo clay and don't realy care what you drive their's nobody in the real world that will say i went in and came out every time i put my TITAN thue hell from farming to pulling horses to mudding and in the sand and pulling out tractor's here and there all in a bone stock 305 hp and 379 ftlbs final gear in drive is 410 with DANA axle's front and rear and a 6 bolt main 339 cu in motor that leaves the line just as hard as my camaro with NOS and my nova.. and leave PC fla. going to geneva alabama i will run this TRUCK 137 to 140 mph on the back road's all day long with 3-5 people in it loaded with tool's and wood are what ever. like i say don't down somthing till you've you tried it. im not knocking CHEVY, FORD or DODGE. i've had CHEVY's from 63 thue to the present and ford's 2 1965's - 67- 69-78-and one 2003 ford f-250 turbo deisel that i traded in on the titan that has the same payload and towing as the f-250 and had a bronco ll that was a very fun little truck like the saying goes A POOR RIDE BEATS A PROUD WALKING ANY DAY. i run heavy equipment and see them all stuck on any given day. just saying don't get mad with what you got and say one is as good as the other build on what you got not what somebody else has. P.S has any body checked out the O2 sensor had about the same with the bronco ll it's what it was. love to see pic. of your chevy ll.. bet it was AWsome...

For me kind'a bashing on your Titan and you first posting "quit your crying" about my pos Ford were getting along pretty good! I really never think there's any thing wrong with that, it's just human nature.
I've got a friend of mine that has a Nissan Titan and he said it hauls ass! I myself have never taken a ride with him in his truck. A 140 miles an hour on the back roads where I live would be mighty scary!
I recently bought a digital multi-tester to check varius things under the hood and it says that you can test the 02-sensors to see if they are OK. Since the working part other than the wires being hooked up properly is inside the exhaust, I just can't justify how this meter is going to check the 02-sensor/ sensors as being good.
I'm not the only person that has this problem. What works for some engines, doesn't always work for other engines. I guess this is a "Ford Thing".
As for the Chevy II Nova, this was my first car that I bought in the early 80's. It had a bunch of mods. to it as I have posted in another thread in this forum. I am not going to list the mods. as they are somewhat long. I'm not to sure witch thread that they are posted in though. If I go back and read some old threads, I will let you know where to look. Since this was a long time ago when I had the car, I can't show you any pictures because they were taken on the old school "Polaroid Instant Camera". To this day I still miss the car.

ok ok ok well now I just dont know what to believe.... I think that there are some narrowminded people out there that can only buy one brand or another, and dont get me wrong, I LOVE MY FORDS... *** there are positive qualities to every brand that is out there. I have owned my share of chevy, fords , and yes even a dodge or 2, and I have liked and disliked aspects of every one of them. why not focus on the good things and the fact that everyone likes what they like for a reason. For me, I love the body lines of the 70s models fords. I can work on em myself, and thats my reasoning. But I can appreciate a nice looking/running chevy/Dodge/whatever, and seems that I have done my fair share of pulling other brands, and being pulled as well by em. So if everyone would just quit the "brand-bashing" and put that energy into something constructive.... then maybe they would have something to brag about. till then quit the complaining and crying about the other brands... hell my daughter is named Galaxie after the car but I aint preaching about everyone should own a ford cuz chevy/ dodge/ toyota/ whatever sucks....

The reason why I bash on "Ford" so much is because of all of the problems that I have had with it. I won't bother listing the problems, as this would be a lenthly post.
I know there are positive quality's and negative things found on every vehicle, but Ford takes the cake for multiple problems. "Nuff said"
I've always liked the "look" of the Ford Ranger 4x4's since the first one was made back in '83.
One Ford that I have always wanted was the old style original Bronco, but trying to find one in decent shape is another thing since I live in the rust belt "Md".
And as you said, I also like the old 70's body style pick-ups.
Do you read Peterson's 4Wheel & OffRoad Mag? Look at all the bashing they do about all sorts of 4x4's.
I've never seen an article yet on a Ford Ranger or a Chevy S-10 that I have owned, but I still buy the mag. because it gives me informative info. about other things. I also like the readers rides & the "whoops" section.

Hey, for all you guys bad talking ford, I have a 1988 f250 4x4. I pulled 2 2000 Chevy 2500s out of the snow at the SAME TIME. The first guy got stuck and didnt have a 4x4. Ok, thats fine, his buddy tried to pull him out with a 4x4 and got stuck. I pulled both out without any hesitation at all. And the Titans are nothing but pathetic garbage.

Hey, My Ford is rusty and thats another thing Fords are good for. But it will pull or haul anything. I have no problems with it at all and it has over 200,000 miles on it. I have out pulled chevys and dodges and I will out pull a Damn Nissan anyday. A Nissan only wishes it could compete with a Ford, Chevy, or a Dodge.

You know, it may be fast, but when it comes to balls a nissan dont have it. It may have a 0 to 60 in 4 seconds, but put a 5,000lb trailer on it and it will barley move. Thats the problem with new trucks, they cant haul anything. they just look good.If you want a truck that will haul or pull, you need an older truck.1990 and down.

like i said before i'v own a butt load of fords and chevys i don't know much about SNOW an't seen it but a few times down here in the panhandle. but i have built a few, from 300 6 cyl to 460's 150's to 250s their a BAD truck!!!. built some BAD CHEVY's and own two right now and looking at a 77 ford if the fellow will get right. i built a 94 nissan hardbody a few years ago with 488s a MSD, trailmaster lift 33x12.50s that was a awsome little truck that i drove far 179000 miles run dogs every year only had to replace the starter and tie rod 's on it . pulled out every thang and every thang pulled me out when need be. as far the titan pulling, like i said before i pull horses, cow's, tractors , hay wagons , peanuts, soybeans, corn, fuel, and a 20' ft. boat.. 69 nova, 73 camaro to the track all in HELL OR HIGH WATER cold weather or even the GATES OFF HELL if it gets to HOT!!! it don't matter what i drive..I JUST DRIVE IT LIKE I STOLE IT . I DON'T NEED JUST A FORD, CHEVY, DODGE, or what ever!!! broke them all. they break sooner or later if you are using them. an't knocking ford much else 2 two 2 chevy's by your self stuck or not!!! but its good to know if i get stuck in tha snow i'll be looking for a rusted F250.Thanks far all of that expertise on the TITAN i'll tell it in the morning that it can't do all of that. don't know what gott into that dam truck... P.S 5000 lbs if thats all you ever pulled or carry you need to drop down to the F150 or better yet i want tell the titan it can't do all of that yet and i'll pull 5000lbs two tandam bean trailers and your F250and one caboose since we are talking out our -ss Edited 5/5/2006 1:49 am by titan up (titan_up) Edited 5/5/2006 1:50 am by titan up (titan_up)

So glad to hear that you agree that the titan does look good. so when i pass that piece of *** rust bucket! dreaming about pulling out all those big chevy's all at one time!!! HELLO was their a CHEVY hooked to you are maybe a FORD ? I wonder what you hooked that rope to? an't never seen rust that strong before. if you ever find yourself down south warming that a-- up i'll give you personally some southern hospitality and dragg you around to many scenic sights like from PC to disney land ... where you might find yourself realy at home i'm sure mickey and donald would welcome you with open arms in fantasy land and if your not ready to come home yet ,i'd go to your local NISSAN dealer and get the run down on something you obviously did not look at like more than likley more towing and hauling than the older ford and about the same as the newer 7.3 turbo deisel both very capable trucks when your ready to go home just come to PC can't get lost if you come in the winter just follow the bird's make it here i'll DRAGG you the rest of the way home. PS mickey said HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets see....My C3500 has a gvw of 11,000lbs and the nissan titan has an impressive gvw rating of 6,587lbs. Damn that's almost what my truck weighs without any gas and no engine. As for pulling trailers try pulling a 36ft trailer with a ford 6000 tractor on it from Arkansas to Pa along with some other junk. Did I mention that the trailer weighed 22,000lbs loaded down. Try doing that with a wimpy Nissan Titan.
As for Fords with rust. I would rather have a rusty Ford than one of those poser city boy Nissan Titans.

H-ll YEA! I hear ya! that C3500 will get with it. that truck got 600- 700 ft.lbs tork i beleave don't it, if it's a desiel have no idea if it's gas. got a old one ton chevy behind the barn it's worn out! , but it done more than it's share of the work.theirs and old 250 back their thats been there and seen it all too, both old 4 speeds with old pillows to sit on them old bench seats would make for a long day in the feilds. we got a little 4000 ford and a 6000 garden tractors not meaning thats all they can do, they pull 4 rows pretty good and cut& roll hay very well among other thangs. that just what we refer to them as. that 6000 is what just looking out the window is 6'.5''center to center 12-13' long in other words some where about 7'.5'' to 8' wide. dam thats a very stout trailer you got their are had alot of junk really alot! I take our little JD 450 grade dozer to the shope on the TITAN with it on a 26' goose neck with no junk on it. anyhow was not meaning for it to sound like i was downing the F250 3/4 ton just puting it back to him for knocking the TITAN 1/2 ton that 's got the towing and hauling as the F250 3/4 ton I can say that seeing i traded in a 2003 FORD 7.3 turbo on the TITAN used the 7.3 for 3 years do the same work still with the TITAN not that big of diffence the 7.3 was standard and the TITANs manual or auto. don't want to seem rude you're comparing a 1 ton to a 1/2 ton we have a F-450 i could do the same about the C3500 and can go all the way to the JD 84000 lbs empty off road truck 6x6 all wheel drive fully locked with a flip of a switch and on up to to a FRIGHTLINER CONDO but thats comparing graps and oranges. and im sure theirs folks that have bigger .sorry if i offended you...
