But,if it has a Q-JET and a flipped over air cleaner,IT SOUNDS GOOD!!! and with the lid flipped it gains like a 100 horsepower,at least when your by yourself in in dogpatch!

If it is GM truck made today, it is the sum of parts from the lowest bidder, not best possible parts. I have owned GM trucks for about 35 years now but I will not buy another one as they are made and designed today. If I had to buy a truck today, it would not be GM. They have not been the truck they once were for many years now.

My school chum had a beater fishing truck,81 or somthing,K30 7.4 -205-60 and 14 bolt.it was a big white bu-nasty 4 door.said it got round 6 mpg w/35.16 HAWGS!truly old school hard.he hunted shark down round a 90 miles down the beach on a good day, you better have a real 4x4 down there, to even think of going against mother nature. he replaced it w/ a 90 2500 diesle dodge, pretty much same set up different day

I have a Dodge Dakota that I have taken in the mud sand and snow and Ice and never gotten stuck, I have tried but then i just put it in 4 wheel low and crawl. I love my truck and would not get any Chevy or Ford, maybe a Toyota but they get the same fuel mileage as my Dakota and I have a V8 they only have a V6.

I've taken my Chevy everywhere and it hasn't been stuck yet either. I've pulled lots of Fords out too
