the GTO was foreign from the get go. Daewoo built them and and GM put GTO on them. GM has been foreign since 30's one way or another for a long time. they all are one way or another and have been for years. they sell the vett over sea's and let them call it somthing else. and i agree they use the flag as sales gimmicks that is the real shame.

sorry about you ford an chevy lovers but i watched a 89 dakota sport 4x4 3.9L with 32/11.50's in 4 high getting pulled backward by a 1/2ton ford f150 with 35's an a 351, well the ford was high centered an the dak backed up to the front an pulled him off well the guy thought it would be funny to pull him in reverse well when my buddy saw his truck moving backwars he ran to it an droped it in drive an mashed it the dak was going forward an the ford was spinning tires in reverse going forward, both were on snow an ice it was the baddest *** thing i have ever seen

i just bought a 2008 dodge ram without 4x4 how much would it be to install or is it possible i didnt have the money a 4x4 then. let me kno thank u  

should have bought a 4x to begin with, the 2x has already depreciated more than it would cost to convert it to 4x, wouldn't be cheap or easy (unlike my ex!) lol, best bet is to trade the 2x in on a 4x , all brands have their good and bad points, I took the best parts and used them on my truck regardless of brand, nothing new though! I'd rather spend 50k fixing my old stuff than buy a new disposable truck that is scrap in 10 years , imo.

Hmm, lets see. Dodge has no front axle disconnect on any of its 4x4 models. The front drive shaft and differential is ALWAYS turning stealing power and what may save Dodge 100 bucks to build yet cost consumers over 1000 dollars in fuel cost over life of vehicle is unconscionable today. Then there is the exposed brake line junctions in wheel well open to rock/gravel and spray from snow and salt. On the CTD, it is a good engine is a MD truck but I see on advantage to a 1300 lb motor in a P/U, especially off road. I am not a Ford fan but the Ford V10 is a sweet motor with good power and with a 6 speed it would kick butt. Dodge dropped their powerful V10 and replaced it with a 5.7 that pales in torque and towing power compared to V10 they once had. On the 4.56 gear, they are not as awesome as they sound with 33's it comes with (equal to 4.10 with 30's) It really needs more than 4.56's as the 5.7 lacks displacement for serious torque in a heavy 4x4. One the lockers, I can forgo them, if Dodge wants to do something awesome, offer lockout hubs and a locker. I will buy a new 4x4 that cannot disconnect the front differential. It is a deal killer for me. Dodge trucks are more a state of mind than reality. BTW, I am/was a GM man and have owned many GM 4x4's over years (other brands too) and own two currently but I have likely bought my last GM truck as I am really disappointed with latest ones. If I had to buy a new truck today, it would be a Ford or Toyota (I am waiting to see what Toyota does in 3/4 ton market)  

all four( gm,ford,dodge,toyota)are the best at one thing and one thing only...getting more of your money! plastic parts, thinner sheet metal, crappy interiors. and wheather you get into a fender bender or a head on crash and live then you or your ins. company is going to pay through the nose or butt, whatever you prefer...thats why I tend to stay w the older, heavier, slower versions of what out there today...i said this before...my 74 c10 got backed into by a new ford focus grantit it was a car but my point is this..damage to my pup, 20$ for used tailgate...damage to focus,$1500-and it was pricless!
