I own a 1979 f-150 stepside on a lift with 33 inch tires and the engine is a 400.  I hope to put 35 inch tires on it soon.  I also own a 1979 chevy stepside with a 3 inch lift and it has a 350 under its hood.

Yes I do like my ford I also like my chevy.  Its hard for me to decide on which one I like more.  The chevy was my first vehicle and my Dad and i took it all apart till there was just a frame and rebuilt it. I got it when i was 10.  I just bought my ford a few months ago from a friend.  All i can say is that i like them both they both have there own strengths and weaknesses.  

at home we have 4 trucks: Chevy, Ford, Toyota, Mazda. I "like" them all, and I definitely agree that any make is going to have its own strengths and weaknesses. I would rather check them all out and enjoy them all than be close minded to different makes.
