Please tell me you are not comparing the 24v cummins to the 6.0 powerstroke. Look at tsbs on these engines. Look at hp, and torque. I use to be a ford man untill I switched to diesel trucks. I wouldn't mess w/ a ford 6.0 diesel. They are just not a dependable work horse engine. Do a little research on your beloved 6.0 compared to the 5.9 cummins. I like the ram head symbol. I am not loyal to any of the truck manufacturers. Every one has there good models, and bad. I have owned owned one of each of the big three, and all have had things I liked, and disliked. Put the cummins in the ford, and I would of bought that truck.

you people are just set in your ways of bul sh it! that you have been hearing all these years. but what major auto manufacturer makes the badest cars out? lets see will start with the worlds fastest production car, the fly navy hennesy viper 1100 hp an 1500ftlb now thats a bad mother from the start. fastest production truck o yeah the srt10 dodge ram what about the baddest diesle lets see the 5.9L inline 6 making 1500hp an 1600ftlb let me see you powerchoke or duratrash do that. you people an your v8 diesles are smoking crack, think about this almost 75% of semis that are pulling this country are straigt 6's. so you can go be queer with your 8cylinders wasting fuel an lagging hp an torque

Ford one of the best trucks on the road these days. The only good trucks these days are Ford, Chevy, Dodge. All the others like Toyota,Honda,Nissan suck!

Did you notice the new toyota tundra lately. The rims look alot like Fords Fx4 dont they. Toyota likes to copy alot of its features from Ford. If you get a picture of a 2004 F-150s front grill flip it upside down and look at the lights they look just like the toyota tundras. Anyways at least Ford, Chevy, and Dodge are American not forien crap!!!

Ford22: Buy the way im also Ford4x4 I wrote how toyota sucks *** ![]()
Saying that a car sucks just because it has a foreign name is just ignorant. The Tundra is built in Texas, the engines are cast in Michigan. The last Toyotas that were built in Japan and sold in America were the 2005 Celica and MR2, plus the last-generation Land Cruiser, I don't know about the new one though. Still, that's one Toyota vehicle which is built in another country and sold here; Ford builds the Fusion, Milan and Focus in Hermosillo, Mexico, and the Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis and Town Car are built in Ontario (That's Canada if you didn't know). So the "american" company builds more cars in foreign countries than the "foreign" one does. So, by YOUR logic, Toyota is a better company and makes better vehicles than Ford. After all, Toyota and Ford are just names, so what if one sounds "more american than the other".

first off toyota is now partially owned by Ford thats y the body styling is so close so that was a very educated comment
Now second i am going to break something down for yall by tellin yall my vehicles and there uses even though i am a DIE HARD chevy fan: -1991 Sonoma 4X4- i use it for muddin but not alot because it is heavy i mainly use it for hauling loads for a minitruck it can tow and good gas mileage -1976 Corvette Stingray- self explanatory a beutiful toy to pick up girls in and 17 MPG -1999 Ford Contour- a great car i drive it to work, great gas mileage, and ive even rolled it in a 8 foot canal rolled it back over and it took a 1999 fullsize 4x4 and a 1994 Jeep 4x4 and drove it off -1973 Ford F250 4x4- used to use it to get hay it a power house and will tote a load, now its my mud truck -1992 Toyota ext. cab 4x4- it would squat if u filled up a 5 gallon bucket of water in the bed but it will cut circle around almost anything in the mud and its stock with 33's -1973 Jeep CJ-5- It can almost follow my 4-wheeler...
So all yal grow up because all trucks have there pros and cons, honestly there is no perfect truck, and as for diesels ford and chevy are the same with a different wrapper and dodge does lead the pac get used to it but i still love that GM company Chevy- like a rock, An American Revolution Ford-Found on roadside dead, F-ed over rebuilt Dodge, fix or repair daily Dodge-yall got a sheep on yalls hood give me a break i'd rather have a truck the circles there problem at the front of the truck (u ford guys know what i'm sayin) lol

"Every one has there good models, and bad" - exactly. I have driven a few of each and there are things i love and things i just can't stand. "as for diesels ford and chevy are the same with a different wrapper" - yeah right. The Power Stroke is an International motor, and they have a history in making diesel engines for trucks. The Duramax is an Isuzu motor but they also have a good reputation with their diesel engines for a little bit smaller trucks. Not really the same, especially because the Duramax has had far fewer problems than either the 6.0 or the 6.4. Not to mention, the transmission behind the Duramax is probably the best automatic on the market. If I had to by a truck today, it would be a Chevy. 7 or 8 years ago it would be the Ford with the 7.3 and before 99 it be a Dodge. I am stuck with a little yota right now but i drive that thing hard and it just asks for more.
