The only problem with the 8.1liter chevy's is the frames are to low in factory form. Had a service truck and had no problems with it, loved the tranny set up for heavy hauling. I Ran a 7.3 diesel and made lots of money working in wyoming, hardly no down time. 6.0 ford diesel can kiss my a--. Too much down time. Ran 2003/ 2004/2005/2006 and they all died. failed engines due to injectors problems and dead torque converters/tranny's. Now run a cummins service truck and it runs good and love the braking system. Had a v-10 and it was a good truck but lacked the power compared to a 460 ford. All these trucks weighed over 10,000lbs to 12,000lbs.

Friends dont let friends drive Fords. Push a Chevy rather than drive a Ford your money ahead. LOL

Na just foolin around the Ford is tough but I personally like the Chevy or better yet the GMC. Their heavier duty.
