i have an 84 f250 4x4 the wheels i have are 16.5 and the tires i bought the truck are bald 31's by 10.50 i was wondering if i could buy a set of supersomper tsl's size 33-12.5-16.5 im not worred about the hite but the with do i have to get new wheels becaouse of the 2 inch with diffrence? thank you every one  

What is your rim width? you should have an 8.5 to 10 inch wide rim for a 12.50 inch wide tire. Although I see lots of people use an 8 inch rim for that size tire.  

i have no clue and i dont know how to find out but maybe a 8.5 how can i find out with out taking the tire off?  

usually its on the back side of the wheel... just take one off and flip it over... you may have to clean it to find it, usually pretty small..  

Any tire shop should be able to tell you, they have a gauge that looks like a big set of tongs. they can put it over the tire and onto each side of the rim and tell you what size it is.  

Ya, the rim size is usually stamped near the lip or the hub on the inside of the rim - the side facing the truck. Sometimes the stamp is hard to see after the chrome or paint is put on. You probably don't have to take the tire off, just get under there with a flaslight and a rag or brush to get the dirt & mud off.
