Gotta agree. Especially since the jeep has all the stupid street electronic control on it which hampers off road performance while the Power Wagon is built for off road.

I agree the Powerwagon is the best purpose built off road truck to roll off an assembly line EVER!!!! It did take top honors on Four Wheeler's Pick up Truck of the Year catagory.

Maybe Pewe and his crew are getting soft in the head, last year they picked the Volkswagen Toureg STATION WAGON!

Maybe these folks are paid to not rate pickups and "traditional" jeeps. Maybe that's 'cause those newer SUV's fetch a high mark-up price.

Maybe people who write these articles would rather have GPS or a Playstion 2 in their favorite 4wd instead of a locker in the rear or good offroad tires!

The power wagon is an awesome truck, I'd like to see one with a cummins. But i think the staff made the right decision this year.

No, but Pewe gives it away in his editorial, he writes that he is driving the winner and it's an SUV...Although I did read a review of the new Grand Cherokee in 4Wheel Parts "Off Road Advetures" it had locking front, center, and rear differentials. With some crazy new traction control, BUT IT DOESN'T COME WITH 33's and a 12,000 lbs Warn winch and AAM 14 bolt rear end.

The power wagon won the truck of the year. The Jan. 05 issue of Four Wheeler has the whole 6 truck competition in it.
