Hello, I just bought a new 2003 FX4 F-150 Ext. cab truck and want to buy a lift kit for it. I was looking at a 4in. suspension lift from pro comp and a fre other companies. What would be a good one to get? I have only ever had body lifts or would I just be further ahead to go with a 3in. body lift...thanks

Don't body lift it! Pro Comp makes good lift kits, so do Superlift and Fabtech. Check out Whiplash to see some really big lifts for your truck. Have fun with it and post some pics when it is done!

i dont mean to disagree here, but there is nothing wrong with a body lift. as a matter of fact for $80 bucks you cant go wrong if your in the begining stages of wheeling. and it sure helps a lot when your doing you suspension lift to have the body already out of the way. throw the body lift on and take some time deciding on what suspension lift to get. then itll be 3 inches higher than what ever lift you decide on when you do it.
