i need some ideas i got a 1985 dodge witha  318 everything else stock u come up with an idea to do sumthin to it tell me i want to make this the ultimate mud truck but yet i still want to drive it on the road without killin myself an im really hard on my truck they fall aprt fast so lets go heavy duty to give me ur ideas  

if you don't already have them, upgrade to heavier axles(3/4 or 1 ton).  put on a mild suspension lift (4 to 6 inches)  trim the finders.  mild lift and fender trimming will let you put on large tires, but still keep your center of gravity at a safe leval for daily driving.  regear  the axles apropriatly for the tires that you choose, and throw in some lockers.

however, if you do all that, then you'll have to address the engine and trans, more power= more fun!!!

well thats thats some good ideas for a start i already got a 3 inch lift to start with an 30x9.50 super sports to start with then whatever my twisted ass can come up with i will do an hopfully not kill myself
