Hi everyone.
I recently had the good fortune of getting my dads '88 Xtra-Cab 4X4 passed down to me when he bought his new Tundra. The truck has the 22REC motor with the A-340H automatic transmission and factory 4.30 running gears.
The truck is in pristine(showroom, garage kept) condition with only 88,000 original miles on it and, I'm wanting to lift the truck with a high quality kit that is well painted or, preferrably powder coated. I want to make this a show quality truck, so the lift kit must be pleasing to the eye as well as functional(in the sense that handling is not adversely affected).
I've researched quite a few lifts in various magazines and online, but I'm hoping that someone here can provide me with some real-world application feedback, based on some of the kits that the users of this forum have installed.
Any info on ease of install, aesthetics, and overall functionality would be greatly appreciated.
Chris.

Dude ifs isnt to good of an idea to lift if u wanna make it into a show truck spend some extra cash and put a straight axle in the front and then get a lift for it it will be easier and nicer to lift. As for a nice lookin lift you could tri fabtech lift or procomps always gotten good comments on those when i talk to everyone. You could also try a company out of washington called northwest off road they do alot of stuff for toyotas you should check em out!
