Can anyone offer advice on methods of improving poewr / fuel economy on a 1999 Mazda B3000 4x4? I am thinking of installing a K & N Filtercharger, Flowmaster exhaust, and possibly an aftermarket computer module (Jet, Hypertech.....etc.) Any one out there have any experience with doing that with that type of truck or a comparable Ford Ranger? P.S. my truck has the auto. transmission. Thanks

All of the options you listed are good steps that don't require major mods to the truck. Depending what is on your truck for tires you might look into changing the gears. The problem with gears is if you go lower you gain power but loose economy and if you go higher you loose performance. I am a Mazda tech and have made all the modes you list and have had realy good luck.
