I own a 1970 Chevy Blazer with front drum brakes. I would like to convert them to front disc brakes. I'm not sure what I need to purchase or get to do the swap. If anyone knows please let me know. I currently have a Dana 44 6 lug front end.
Thanks,
Frank

What front end do you have? 6 lug D44? You should be able to swap in later model spindles, rotors, calipers, etc. from a 73-75 Chevy solid axle rig. I think they switched to the corporate 10 bolt around 1976 and I'm not sure if the spindles are the same as the D44. Rather than trying to buy all the components separate, try finding the whole front end to swap in (assuming you can find the same gear ratio as your rear) that would be easier. Also you'll need a larger master cylinder that is made for front disc brakes, and a different proportioning valve (also for made for front disc or an adjustable one from Summit racing or Wilwood)
Good luck
