The suspension you are probably thinking of is a muli-link 1/4 elliptical leaf spring design.  It would be a little tight to fit a full on race suspension on a Jeep, but similar designs have been made to work.  There aren't any lift kits that use the 1/4 elliptical design, so it would have to be a full custom design that will cost *** It's doable but expensive. A good quality lift kit will probably be a better bet.
